Sarah Cormier
Massage Therapist

Sarah attended Norquest College where she took the physical therapy assistant program and graduated in 2016. She has a great understanding on different exercises and modalities as she worked in both physiotherapy clinics and hospitals in her clinical work experience. She went back to school and attended Grant McEwan University’s 2200-hour massage therapy program and graduated in 2018. After spending nearly 2 years working with mostly sport injuries, she wished to work with an interdisciplinary team to help broaden her scope of practice.

Sarah’s focus is a well-rounded therapeutic based approach which she uses to pin-point problem areas. She applies various techniques including myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point release, lymphatic drainage and Swedish massage to create a balanced treatment that fits her clients’ needs. She also does pre- and post-natal massage and myofascial and dynamic cupping. She wishes to explore lymphatic drainage and TMJ therapies as they are interesting topics for her.

Outside of work, Sarah is an avid equestrian and has a horse of her own which she hopes to compete on. She loves to be active, enjoys camping and watching hockey. She also has a black cat named Ringo that never causes a dull moment in her day-to-day life.
