Karin Kaufmann graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.

Karin has over 30 years of experience as a physiotherapist, having worked in private hospitals, chronic pain clinics, and multidisciplinary clinics. Her extensive chronic pain experience includes working at Lifemark Health Institute in Edmonton in their chronic pain clinic, as well as 10 years at a privately owned chronic pain clinic in Calgary. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions and patient populations, including orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, chronic pain, TMJ disorders, motor vehicle accident injuries, WCB-related injuries, and multiple sclerosis.

Karin has completed postgraduate training in Level 3 Manual Therapy, lymphatic drainage, and visceral manipulation. She also incorporates Rolfing and cupping into her practice and uses a hands-on approach to treatment.

Outside of the clinic, Karin has earned a Brown Belt from Temple Kung Fu and received a Gold Medal in ballroom dancing with her pro-am partner, Dima Levita. She also enjoys walking, ballroom dancing, swimming, travelling, and spending time walking her dog.
